Senator Fowler calls for local businesses to show off their products
(WSIL) “It’s amazing what we have here,” Illinois Sen. Dale Fowler (R-Harrisburg) said during a stop at the News 3 studio on Friday Aug. 13.
Fowler is once again teaming with several sponsors to host the Southern Illinois Made Expo in Marion. This year’s event is set for Oct. 9 and 10.
The expo showcased hundreds of businesses in 2018 and 2019, but the COVID-19 pandemic delyaed the event last year.
Now, Senator Fowler hopes to make it even bigger and showcase what the area has to offer. Money raised from the vent will help Operation Honor Guard.
“Registrations are open for new vendors. Obviously, our mission is to showcase incredible southern Illinois made and manufactured products as well as destinations. So you can go on the SI Made dot org website and register as a vendor,” Fowler said.
You can find out more on the expo’s website.
