The city of Morris is once again participating in an electrical aggregation program.
Morris Mayor Chris Brown said city council members entered into an agreement with the Northern Illinois Municipal Electric Collaborative for two years.
He said the group recommended going with the ComEd rate.
Meanwhile, the council heard that three new business license applications were approved during the Judiciary and License Committee.
Jodi Pollack was granted to operate a non-profit fundraising for senior citizens business and a travel family blog business at 304 Robinson Drive.
A business license application was granted to Donna Peterson to operate a beauty shop that offers haircuts only business at 2011 Lisbon Street in Morris.
