Four New Businesses Coming To Algonquin Commons
ALGONQUIN, IL —Four national retailers are planning to open at Algonquin Commons, the village announced Tuesday.
Ashley Furniture, Tap House Grill, and X-Golf will join Barnes and Noble as new retailers at the shopping center on South Randall Road in Algonquin.
“We are excited that these four businesses chose to invest and grow their business in Algonquin,” said Village President Debby Sosine in an announcement on the village website. “Our business retention and attraction efforts add value to the tax base, which in turn, helps keep the Village’s property tax rate low for our residents.”
Red Mountain Group, Inc. acquired Algonquin Commons in May and has committed nearly $30 million to revitalizing Algonquin Commons. At the time, CEO Michael Mugel said his company was excited to develop the center into a vibrant area for the village.
“I have never seen an asset of this high quality, this well located, with this strong of a tenant mix, with this amount of opportunity in my 30 year career,” Mugel said in a Facebook post.
